Why we exist?
Technology has made us constantly connected, but at the same time, relationships have become more superficial. Much of our interaction takes place through screens, and much of our entertainment involves endless scrolling. These days, connecting with others boils down to a few seconds of attention. That’s why we believe it’s necessary to reclaim spaces where relationships can naturally develop from shared experiences and genuine interests.
At the same time, culture and creativity remain ubiquitous yet undervalued. There are artists who want to showcase their work, cultural managers seeking opportunities to develop projects, and small businesses that could become vibrant cultural hubs. However, this potential remains untapped and disconnected. Many artists struggle to find venues where they can bring their ideas to life; businesses are willing to host cultural events during the week but don’t know who to partner with or how to get started; and many people interested in art or music don’t know where to find cultural experiences nearby.
Our initiative stems from this reality. Atempo is a platform that connects artists, cultural managers, businesses, and the public through authentic cultural experiences. We help advance collaborations that transform everyday spaces into places where people can come together. Atempo make it easier for people to discover local events, participate in communities, and meet others with similar interests.
We want relationships to be built around shared activities, conversations, and cultural experiences. When someone participates in an event, they connect with a specific community. From there, new friendships, creative collaborations, or cultural projects can emerge.
